Back-to-Back Rose Bowl Appearances

Iowa did us a big favor by beating Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s loss to Iowa guaranteed us a trip to the Rose Bowl. After an upsetting loss to Ohio State, Michigan now needs to prepare to play against the Texas Longhorns. How much better can this get? Michigan and Texas are two of the most successful and tradition-rich programs in college football. Both teams have tons of talent. The bowl game will be loaded with top-notch playmakers, including Texas running back Cedric Benson and linebacker Derrick Johnson, and for Michigan, wide receiver Braylon Edwards, running back Michael Hart and defensive backs Marlin Jackson, Ernest Shazor and Markus Curry.

Hopefully this year we will return with a win in Pasadena.
